Acorns Investinall: The Cure That Could Compound

Acorns Investinall was a full pharma-parody campaign I concepted and led for Acorns, timed to NFL kickoff. With sports betting ads dominating the airwaves and predictive markets more accessible than ever, we saw an opportunity to meet bettors where they were — not to lecture them, but to offer a better option for their money.

he campaign centered on a fake pharmaceutical brand — complete with a drug box, clinical disclaimers, a hero video spot, and a supporting website — built around a real offer: feeling regret from a sports bet? Acorns will match your loss up to $50 and invest it for you instead.

Hero Video

The hero video was shot as a full pharmaceutical DTC parody — lab coat, AI stomach graphic, deadpan cast experiencing "betting-induced regret" in increasingly absurd ways. For social, we produced intentionally lo-fi, self-shot vertical cuts designed to feel native to the feed: full costume commitment, mundane activities, committed to the bit from first frame to last.

“Medicine” + Press kit

To support the launch, we developed a physical "Betting Regret Relief Kit" — a step-by-step recovery guide for betting-induced regret.

The kit included an Investinall box, a stress ball (acorn), a phone lockbox, and a tear-a-day investing calendar, each assigned a clinical step and written in the same deadpan pharma register as the rest of the campaign. Built to be talkable and photographable — a physical extension of the campaign concept designed for creators and press.

The Investinall site was built as a full pharma-parody patient intake experience — hero page, pill-shaped loss slider, deadpan intake form, loading screen, and prescription reveal — with every copy touchpoint written in the same clinical register as the rest of the campaign.
